Lymph Recipes 🥬
These healthy recipes are GREAT to support your Lymphatic System!
A couple times of year I offer a Lymph Cleanse to my community. For 5 days we learn Lymphatic self-massage, movement to boost lymph flow, and I share healthy recipes to reduce the body’s lymph load. (Stay tuned for info on the next Cleanse…)
Prior to the Cleanse I always recommend cutting back on sugar, alcohol, gluten, and processed foods. While everyone has different dietary needs, I suggest not snacking in between meals.
If you’re hungry reach for Green Tea and berries. 🫐
Green tea and berries contain beneficial polyphenols which may help protect you against nonalcoholic fatty liver disease as well as aiding digestion. Berries such as blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries have the highest antioxidant activity of commonly consumed fruits, next to pomegranates. Also high fiber, berries are beneficial for your gut health.
👉 Here’s a couple recipes from my Cleanse to kick off healthy Lymph Habits in the New Year. I hope they inspire you to enjoy cooking more!
🍋 Drink with water with lemon first thing in the morning- this will aid your digestion, support your Lymphatic system in removing metabolic waste and help carry nutrients to your cells. Please continue to drink plenty of water throughout the day as it will help increase metabolism, lubricate your joints and is one of the building blocks for glowing skin!
